About the author

My name is David Ebel, and I am an addict.  Since somewhere around July of 2008 I realized that I was completely hooked on the RC hobby.  I recently joined a local club called the Sun Valley Fliers, who operate an amazing paved runway field in Cave Creek, Arizona.

I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and have been involved in technology since I was old enough to walk.  I was heavily involved in the .com boom of the late 90′s, and am now a Manager at Acquity Group based in Scottsdale, AZ.

My goal at the moment is to create a repository of information that will assist those in the RC community with their interests.  This hobby enjoys an endless learning curve, and as beginners become involved they will need places to go for help.  This blog will also contain some of my many ideas for the future and direction of the hobby, and I will seek comment and input from the community on them.  While I am somewhat new to blogging, I am not new to the Internet.  I have hosted a personal website since highschool, and right now it is at www.TrustDavid.com.  I imagine that soon I will retire that site and focus solely on RCTech.

I encourage, and beg of you, to comment on the posts here on the site.  This attempt will only find success if I have your thoughts and ideas to share as well as my own.  Tell me what you would like to know about, or what you are experiencing.  The hobby is not on the cutting edge of Internet presence, and it needs to get up to speed.  This is my attempt at helping that process and I hope you will find it valuable.
